When having a Bronze Colossus as neighbour is a blessing

In the winter of my second year I just killed a Goblin Master Thief and sometime later I get the ambush message and my screen zooms to my resident Bronze Colossus getting jumped by a Goblin ambush squad. I grab a snack and watch them getting smashed to pieces. The Bronze Colossus only suffering from a bitten nose. I also remember to forbid the dropped items and just chuckle at Goblin stupidity.
