When it's ready. Others will be along soon to say things like "maybe by the end of the year" but "when it's ready" is the only real answer we have.

Well yeah but so far i've only seen some unclear, random posts by Meph about it here and there
Would be nice to get some official news

It is nearly impossible to predict and any time and energy spent trying to predict it, is time and energy not spent doing the work, thus making it take longer, all for a prediction that would probably be wrong anyway.

And let us remember, Meph is busily working to produce graphics for the new DF version. 
So just a wild guess on my part is that work is higher priority than updating MW... but I could be wrong,
I'm wrong most of the time, at least that's what "they" tell me.

I think the major issue would be DFhack scripts here.
I've done it once long ago, copying over new DF release and new scripts worked well.

Anyone has some free time to try?
