So, is this still going on? I know it's a weird table-flipping simulator that people got to play games, so the controls are a bit tacked-on, but it's the best way I know to play board games remotely.

I generally prefer cooperative games, but am down for most things.

Still a thing, complete with some modules showing up on reddit. The controls aren't exactly tacked on so much as you need something to interact with this physics based game.

I know little about this.
Someone on the front page mentioned MTG. Is it possible to just write the content of your cards down in setup?

Is there a way to play TS without having all players at the same time? You know, someone takes a turn, then when the next player looks possibly a few hours later they can take their turn, repeat. Obviously this would only work well with 2 player games, if at all.

You can probably just leave the game running, go run an errand or whatever, and came back to it. There's not a play-by-mail option that I'm aware of, but you could find the save file and send it to your opponent, etc. if you were so inclined.

For Magic, I assume you create your deck in single player, then import it to the multi-player game. That's what we did on the single session of Arkham LCG I played (those jerks with their "other things to do" *shakes fist*).

Yes you can save any game and pass it around through a medium like email. This is a less ideal way to play than just finding an hour or two in common with one other person.

Would anyone actually be interested in a game of Twilight Imperium? I never got around to play a proper round yet :/

Not my thing and would be really tough to get that many people together for 8 hours.

Don't anything about this game, but couldn't you play it for an hour, save the game, wait until you all can play again, rinse and repeat?

Anyone getting tired of being stuck inside yet, and need some socialization?

What days and times would work for anyone?

Tabletop Simulator is on sale for half off right now, if that changes anyone's minds.

It may not be as good as playing in person, but that's not really an option right now.

Depends on the game. In-game for simple stuff. I haven't figured out the in-game voice chat yet, so for complicated games I'm using something else. I'll probably go with IRC or Discord, because Google Talk takes up too many resources (I'm comparing it unfavorably to Discord, so that's impressive).

Discord is quite useful. Text chat in boardgames is painful so voice is quite handy. TabletopSim has a button for ingame speech.
