Besides setting up a kitchen with feed stock piles, is there an (easy) way to get rid of royal jelly? Its almost not worth the mead when your stockpiles are getting full. QSP their jugs under an atom smasher won't work, as it give bad thought for lost masterpieces.

If you use DFHack you can force cooking jobs to use royal jelly.  It is surer than the stockpile mechanism.  By default, I believe it is Crtl-a when selecting the job in the workshop.  Then you can specify the ingredients to be whatever you want, though the first one still needs to be solid.

I have had spotty luck with DFhack and cooking. I was hoping for a way to dump the royal jelly out of the jugs, preferably in bulk. It seems that royal jelly might be planned for later use, or is being used too balance honey's use.

I haven't ever tried, but do you get the option of what to fill a pond with when you go with the bucket brigade option?

No. Bucket brigades can only haul water. Minecarts can haul water and magma, while no other fluids have fluid dynamics in DF (you can empty caravan barrels of blood, venom, etc., out on the floor with some fiddling, but it just contaminates the floor, and does not not produce a pool with a depth).
