"Cannot expel : Child does the expelling"

What does this mean? Has my baroness given away her rights to expel dwarves to a child?

The mayor does the expelling, not the noble. (File that under TIL.) And the individual is indeed the mayor's parent, so they will not be expelled under these circumstances.

I guess the error makes sense, now that I know what it means. It's a real weird one, though.

How were you able to figure out what was going on?
