« on: January 29, 2020, 09:40:43 am »

Third migrant wave in, and I receive this very special individual.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The purple character is a Dwarf Mechanic Necromancer. Interesting stuff this man will achieve as my Dwarven Army now will grow strong

Isn't there an issue with Necromancer in squads?  When they raise zombies, it becomes hostile to everyone.

From my past experience, the problem is that necromancers in squads are hostile to all undead, including those they raise and try to attack them on sight. Which in turn results in the undead turning against their master.

But one could develop techniques to use necromancers in defense for sure!

My last fort had about 17 necromancers. At first one point angry dwarves had a fist fight in the refuse level of the fort and we had to put down a zombie insurrection.

Zombies raised are hostile to everything that is’t a zombie.

(I had so many necros because we defeated a tower and raided it for books like 40 times. Same fort also had a vampire that was hammered for every crime in the fort but would not die.)

If not under Neotemplar look for Vellum.

They die if you make sure they dont receive treatment, infected wounds are stronger then the vamp healing factor
