Adds several pegasus-related stuff as well as a playable civilization of pegasi.
This mod includes:
1. Creatures
a. Pegasus
A fearless horse-like creature with prehensile wings. Immortal, proud warriors ten times bigger than a dwarf, they'll prove to be a formidable force against any incoming attack... or really scary enemies. They grow special metal hair which can be sheared and processed in the cloud industry.
The pegasi are made flightless, and this is intentional. Fortress mode pathfinding is currently incredibly bugged for flying things and makes the game almost unplayable. If you're not planning to play pegasus fortress, however, they should be able to siege your dwarven- or other creature fortress just fine. Their merchants, however, may sometimes get stuck mid-air and go insane if you don't get them down. So I would advise against putting square brackets around the FLIER token in the creature_pegasus_sky.txt , but they're there should you find the need to.
b. Sky Horse
A winged horse. It is prized for its fluff. They grow special metal hair at a rapid rate which can be sheared and processed in the cloud industry, and the mares can be milked for standard-value milk. They don't appear naturally in the world and can only be bought from pegasus caravans.
c. Sky Weaver
A small horse-like creature with unmatched skills at spinning fibres. They are winged quadrupeds the size of dwarves and lived their eternal lives to shear, spin, and extract strands at the pegasi's cloud industry. Uncultured populations may be found on good tundras and glaciers.
Sky weavers were added because creatures can't shear themselves. A population of shearable creatures won't be able to shear anything because they'll try to shear the closest thing, which most of the time are themselves. If you don't want to use a sky weaver, wait until a pegasus is standing on another pegasus and enable one or both of their shearing duties, then use the sheared pegasus to shear everyone else.
Also I think it's kinda neat that the bigger horses have small horse hair stylists.
d. Cloud Spider
A tiny fluffy spider, found around bleeding skies. They spin a special silk called holy silk which have the same value as giant cave spider silk, and the "venom" they produce have healing properties. They can be found in tundras and glaciers.
-----
2. Plants
a. Bleeding Sky
A tree that yields cloud logs when chopped, which are almost weightless. They can be found in tundras and glaciers, although they don't actually show up on glacier maps because, y'know, ice. They'll still be available to civilizations residing in glaciers, however. They bear sky shard wafers instead of fruit,.

3. The Sky Civilization
The sky civilization are civilizations of pegasi. They have a different assortment of melee weapons and armor alongside other commonly-found ones (mostly the bigger ones) to fit their quadrupedal nature. They do not use any ranged weapons or siege engines, because those are invented by cowards, and pagasi are literally incapable of fear. They specialize in the cloud industry, which yields three special metals only available to them: sky shards, skyfall, and heavensteel, and these are their main material for currency. They can spawn anywhere not freezing in the world and create cities similar to humans, but they can reside in evil and good biomes just fine. Their caravans will appear on winter with wagons and are guarded. When playing as a pegasus fortress, the empreror/empress will arrive personally to see the progress of the new outpost and make trade agreements. They will use domestic pack, pull, and pet animals, but not mounts.
The sky culture sees killing other members of the civilization as unthinkable, justifies the killing of neutral beings with good reason, requires the killing of enemies, and doesn't have any problem with killing plants and animals. Torture is only acceptable to gather information and torture for example is only justified under extreme conditions; they see torturing for fun and torturing animals as unthinkable. Treason and oath breaking are unthinkable, for pegasi are naturally loyal to their cause. Liars are reprimanded, while vandalizers, trespassers, theives, and assaulters should be handled personally. They will not hestitate to take slave prisoners as bounty from successful sieges. Eating sapients are considered unthinkable and making trophies of any kind are also seen as unthinkable.
The scholars from sky civilizations focus on the charting of the land and sky (geographers and astronomers).
The sky nobility takes the form of an empire. The highest monarch is called an emperor for male and an empress for female, and they are accompanied by senates. The monarch is responsible for making the law, enforcing it, receiving diplomats, making military goals, and acting as diplomats themselves. The five generals of the army are called the masters of the horse, who command the knights, who in turn command the captains. Mayors are elected from smaller towns than dwarves usually. The medical team is led by the general practicioner. The treasurer acts as a broker and a record keeper. The dukes, counts, and barons are called kings/queens, princes/princesses, and governor-generals, respectively. The demigod/demigodess is responsible for building morale for the military. The executioner is called the heavenstrike and uses swords. Areas are patroled by sky masters and their soldiers. An administrator for a newly-occupied site is called the lieutenant-governor.

4. Metals
a. Sky Shard
Basically lightweight copper, and makes it the most useless metal out of all, but can be produced in great numbers and can be used to make cheap anvils. They come in wafers.
b. Skyfall
Basically very heavy silver (slightly denser than platinum), the best choice for blunt weapons. Cannot be used for armor. Why would you want very heavy armor?
c. Heavensteel
Basically lighter steel, making them somewhat inferior to dwarven steel. Requires access to magma to make.
-----
5. Buildings
a. Sky Forge
A forge specialized for the cloud industry, only available for pegasi.
b. Heaven's Forge
A forge specialized for the cloud industry and uses magma as fuel. Required for manufacturing heavensteel.
-----
6. The Cloud Industry
It's been mentioned several times above, but what is it exactly? Well, it's the processing of metal hair into many useful products. Metal hair can be acquired by shearing sky horses or pegasi and spinning the threads, both done at the farmer's workshop. The spun thread can later be processed without cost (except labor) in the Sky Forge or Heaven's Forge into either a sky shard wafer or 4 cloud logs each. 3 sky shard wafers can later be processed into 2 skyfall bars in either special forges with a single silver bar and fuel. A skyfall bar can be further processed in the Heaven's Forge with an iron bar, three sky shard threads, and any silk thread into two heavensteel bars. If you don't have access to silk, the cloud logs can be extracted for cloud silk at a Heaven's Forge. These silk can also be used to mass-produce cheap silk clothing for your pegasi.
The cloud industry truly thrives at volcanoes because they require almost no need to go underground, fitting for the cloud-dwelling horses I say.

7. Clothing
a. Feather Guards
Gauntlets for wings. Protect those soft, delicate feathers from nasty goblin blades with heavy metal. Or light metal, because you also have those.
b. Featherbands
Gloves for wings. Keeps wings warm and fluffy and the pegasi happy!
c. Horseshoes
Exactly what you think it is. Shoes for horses and horse-like creatures. Or not really since anyone can wear them just fine if sized correctly. Can only be forged from metal, and because pegasi have four legs, you need a lot of those. Luckily, you can have as many sky shard wafers as you want.
-----
8. Weapons and Shields (skill used in brackets)
a. Wingblades (sword)
Very big blade on your wing. Does edge damage only. Cannot be used by creatures smaller than a horse.
b. Pixie Blades (sword)
Small dagger on your wing. Does edge damage only. Can be made from sharp stone.
c. Lances (spear)
Bigger spear. That's it. Cannot be used by creatures smaller than a horse.
d. Shovels (miner)
Tools used for digging. Does edge damage and blunt flat damage like an axe, but without a pommel attack and a "stab" attack instead. Have reduced attack recovery speeds.
e. Wing Shields
Shields with a different name. Note that, because of how shield sizes are calculated, these things are gigantic and can be very heavy if made by pegasi.
f. Feathershields
Bucklers with a different name. Same as above.
-----
9. Horse Figurines
They're toys for your foals. Who will grow up after one year. That's it, I guess. Just thought it's funny.
------
10. Horse Configurations
The b_detail_plan_sky.txt gives better body detail plans for hooved quadrupeds with feathery wings, and the body_sky.txt is just wings with the [GRASP] token. You may use them for other horse stuff. Additionally, have you noticed that DF horses have no manes? What is this atrocacy? Sky horses and pegasi have manes, thou worry not. Sky weavers don't, because they're these creepy dudes.
