1. Pilot Certification
Character Name: Medea
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Appearance: An young woman with purple hair done in twintails, blue eyes, and a impact resistant bodysuit with metal plating for extra protection in critical areas. Accordingly her shoes are a cross between metal boots and high heels. Her belt is made of interlocking metal plates, and fits to the upper and lower portions of the suit, sealing them together (In absence of the typical zipper) On her right is a bag containing her phone, laptop, notebook, writing utensils, and a few mints. On her left is a pistol and knife, just in case.
Personality: Medea is a bit of nerd. She draws and distributes manga, and occasionally releases animated shorts both as a means of expression, and as a means of providing some entertainment in these harsh times. She insist on the stylish options and cares little for formality. She gives her attacks elaborate names and loves to put on a show.
Specialization: Art
2. Assembly Line
Callsign: Atheon (Short for Gladiator Atheon)
Appearance: The Victory is primarily painted in two colors. A dusty copper-ish bronze. And a shiny silver. Its Arms are painted copper but otherwise the color is left to small segments and distinctive markings, with the rest of the body being painted silver.
Its hands also have a black polymer on the inner side, covering the surface of the palms and fingers
Its head, painted silver, is shaped in fairly standard humanoid mecha fashion, with two wedge like protrusions coming up on the side for sensors and communication antenna (There is a backup transmitter inside the cockpit. But it can get a little staticy)
Over its eyes is a large red cloth, wrapped up around its eyes like a blindfold and its long enough that both ends trail off behind it. Reaching down to its waist when its not being blown in the wind. The Victory’s eyes CAN see through them and even were they ruined, the other sensors would keep visibility from being totally destroyed.
Beginning just above its waist is a sort of lopsided metal skirt, made of old tank tracks. At its scale, and the way they have been fitted and combined means it actually does move somewhat like cloth. It's technically armor but it's mostly just for show. At best weakening the blows of weapons to the legs and preventing the leg joins from getting easily shot or stabbed.
Its left arm has a laser hidden inside it, which elevates out of it when in use, while the scabbard for its sword is on the right of its waist. The sword has sword breaker notches running down part of its length.
To get in or out, or create an opening to get inside, a section of Victory’s chest, just a bit below the neck parts and extends out a platform. In the hanger this platform would emerge next to stairs, but out in the field, it can deploy a retractable rope ladder, made of metal rungs and steel cable. (Thankfully you can let it lower or raise you if you don't want to climb the whole way) The exit platform also makes a nice place to sit and look out at the landscape, if you find land worth looking at.
Chassis: Wizard
Power Generation: 4
Parts:
Mini reactor: Placed deep in the center of the mech. Since it cannot be seen at all normally it's not particularly worth describing. Generates power using nuclear fusion. It is the primary engine.
Mechanical Legs: Relatively standard among mecha. They have a deceptively simple appearance on the outside, (Which is helped by the fact the hip joints are obscured by the “clothing” worn by this particular unit)
Just a pair of “simple” three part feet on a slightlyyyy blocky pair of legs. The bottom of the feet have had few segments from a broken and modified tank track welded to it, to give it more traction.
Mechanical Arms (Based from mechanical legs): Though not part of a Wizard Chassi by default, these arms serve all the same purposes as the arms of a warrior unit. They are reasonably sized and a little blocky, save for the surface of the palms and fingers on their hands Which are made of interlocking black plates coated in a durable polymer, allowing them to deform enough to smoothly grip things.
Laser beam: This high power laser emitter has been fitted to the left arm, for the purpose of blasting things, heating things, and various utility uses. It can recede into a covered chamber in the arm to remain hidden, and is raised out on command.
Steel Sword Breaking Sword (Scrap Steel) : A sword made of Scrap steel that has been painstakingly worked, cleaned, and welded back into a usable, shiny form. The form of everyone’s favorite melee weapon. The sword
This sword is relatively simple however, roughly from the guard to a quarter of the way up, on the bladed side, are a series of notches for catching enemy weapons, in hopes of breaking them, removing them from the enemy’s grasp, or at the very least, holding them back and inhibiting the enemy
Armor Plating: The Outer Armor of the mech. You could refer to it as the Mech’s skin. It acts to protect the bits inside. It's also been paired with a sort of metal skirt made primarily of broken tank tracks that have been salvaged and fused together. In theory it should stop or weaken a few sword strikes or something that might damage the leg joints. (But let's face it, it's mostly just cool looking)
History/Design Principles: A good Mech should feel natural and smooth to use. And to Medea, that means this sort of mech. While not considered a good idea by a good number of practicality minded engineers, the classic humanoid with sword and laser design is Medea’s idea of perfect, hence this custom model. When asked about the extra flourishes and style she only comments that cooler things are more inspiring.
