You hail the approaching ship: "Bonjour! Parlez-vous Français?"

"ALERT! ALERT! INTRUDER DETECTED! ACTIVATING AUTO-DEFENSE SYSTEMS..."

The ship sends out a radioactive alarm frequency, alerting the surrounding ships before firing upon you with its lasers!

However, you had your own laser ready, and blast the attacking ship to smithereens before it is able to deal much damage. Your shields suffer 1 damage from the skirmish.

Meanwhile, inside the ship, you offer to share resources from the planet with Nebulon and ask if he has any ideas about any of these goings-on.

Nebulon: "Oh, most excellent, ship! Your generosity shall not go unnoted."

Nebulon: "As for the happenings around this planet, I cannot be certain. Cyclobots are a semi-advanced classification of artificial intelligence systems existent in many sectors of the known universe. However, my data archives cannot locate any specific references to a 'Lara'."

Nebulon: "There are a number of hidden organizations that run their businesses on rogue planets, undetected by the watchful eyes of surveillance. Seeing the scale and secrecy of this operation, I can only guess that this may be one of such organizations."

UFO Event Complete: Smurf Procreation.

The 100 or so Smurfs that had been engaged in procreative endeavors have completed their duties. 30 Baby Smurfs have been produced as a result!

Additionally, two of the Smurfs that were a part of the assignment have become Super Smurfs!

One of the Smurfs that was a part of the assignment has caught a fungal infection! The Smurfs do not currently have a cure for the infection. If untreated, the fungus may spread to more Smurfs, reducing health and productivity, the Smurfs believe!

One of the Smurfs that was a part of the assignment has become obsessed with procreation, and refuses to work until s/he partakes in more procreation! That Smurf is also distracting other Smurfs from their duties!

Meanwhile, outside the ship, several more ships a part of the convoy begin heading towards you, alarmed by the destroyed scout's distress signals!...

Why are there so many ultramarines in one place? And why is one of them a nurglite? Why is one of them a slaaneshi?

Send the ill one to the Apothecary aboard this noble battle barge. Detain the Slaaneshi. Try to get ahold of a priest and an exorcist.

You send the Infected Smurf to the Apothecary, who studies the fungus infection. It is a strange illness indeed, and it seems that more time is needed before a cure can be produced.

You detain the Slaaneshi, who seems almost too willing to comply, given its crazed state. It even seems to be enjoying getting detained.

...You try to get ahold of a priest and an exorcist as quick as you can, soon locating one of each among the Smurfs.

Smurf Priest: "Praise be the Smurf God!"

Smurf Exorcist: "What demons need to be smurfspelled?"

Meanwhile outside, you fire the lazers at the incoming ships, managing to blow up two of them while taking some damage on your shields. Your shields suffer 4 damage. The last ship flees back towards the convoy. You gain 3 Experience Points from the battle.

Experiment with Laser Lenses made from the Rainbow Gem. If it works, rig up a primitive laser emitter with the old lenses and create the LAZERFORGE 9000 XTREME. Also, send the Slaaneshi pictures of smurf hand holding in attempt to exorcise the demon with assistance from the religious officials.

Repair the shield, and try to get the cloning pod working.

You experiment with Laser Lenses made from the Rainbow Gem...

The experimentation is super successful! You rig up a primitive laser emitter with the old lenses and create the LAZERFORGE 9000 XTREME!

The technological advancements in quantum optics have caused Laser Cannon to reach level 3!

Meanwhile, you send the Slaaneshi pictures of smurf hand holding in attempt to exorcise the demon with assistance from the religious officials...

The Slaaneshi seems to respond well to the exorcism, as you are then able to extract the demonic presence and trap it in a bottle.

The rehabilitated Slaaneshi seems much friendlier now with the demon removed.

Rehabilitated Slaaneshi: "Would you like to hold hands with me? :)"

Meanwhile, you repair the shield, consuming Lead Ore x50. Shields are once again at full capacity!

You also try to get the cloning pod working. The smurfs puzzle about the device, trying to figure out what's wrong with it...

Uh oh! Feels like there was an explosion that came from the cloning pod! Smurfs begin evacuating the area, as fires and hazardous fumes start to spread! You take 1 structural damage!

Meanwhile, on the outside, the main ship of the convoy starts flying towards you, aided by a few smaller ships. It soon sends you a transmission.

Capital Ship: "IDENTIFY YOURSELF, INTRUDER, BEFORE I ANNIHILATE YOU!"

Activate the fire suppression systems, then blow up the ships that are threatening us with our new and improved lasers.

You activate the fire suppression systems! High-tech sprinklers protrude out of the ceilings and walls of the enflamed rooms, dousing the spreading fires.

However, it seems that the chemically-infused fires are more fiery than regular fire, as some fiery demon-like entities emerge out of the fiery chaos. They begin battling your fire suppression systems.

The battle seems to be dead even for the time being, so at least your haul is not suffering further damage.

Outside the ship, you shoot at the ships that are threatening you with your new and improved lasers.

Great success! The ships apparently had a weakness to rainbow-type damage, as the capital ship suffers a devastatingly fatal blow from your colorful yet deadly attack.

Capital Ship: "OH NO, I AM DEFEATED! BUT YOU HAVE ONLY JUST WON THE BATTLE, AS LORD OVERLORD LARA SHALL AVENGE MY NOBLE DEATH!"

The capital ship then explodes into smithereens, along with the smaller ships.

It seems that the outside threat has been eliminated.

Meanwhile, the apothecary smurf reports their findings after thoroughly studying the fungus that was infecting one of the smurfs.

Smurf Apothecary: "I have neutralised the viral contaminant from the patient, and isolated some of it into this smurf-face-shaped petri dish. Interestingly, a bumbling world of life can be observed using these smurf-face-shaped microscope lens. Take a look!"

You look into the lens, seeing a miniature world of tiny life forms that look very much like smurfs, except they are microscopic and live in houses of fungus. Curious.

Study the mini smurfs, see if we can learn from them, then see if we can communicate to them or not.

You initiate Operation Demonammo by making the fire demons get sucked into the ammo supply for the currently dormant Fire Demon Launchers onboard the UFO.

"Operation Demonammo is a go!" The smurf chief engineer exclaims from the special operations room, shifting some gears as an assortment of colored lights begin to flash all around the control panel.
"Preparing to absorb the Fire Demons currently in the laundry room into the ammo supply!..."

An unidentified flying suction device emerges out of the floor of the laundry room and begins sucking the Fire Demons in, creating a vortex of elemental chaos. One of the Fire Demons is soon engulfed by the suction device and collected into the ammo supply.

The other Fire Demon, however, is able to escape into the hallways, where it continues to cause chaos abound. It shoots a fireball at the ceiling, dealing big damage to you!

The suction device soon catches up to the demon and sucks it inside. However, some smurfs passing by also get sucked in, becoming trapped in the ammo supply along with the Fire Demons!

"Err-- u-uh oh! That wasn't supposed to happen! W-what should we do!?" The smurf chief engineer scans through the systems, unsure about how to get the smurfs out.

Meanwhile in the bio-lab, you study the mini smurfs in the petri dish...

Doesn't seem like they do very much aside from laze around outside their mushroom houses and read newspapers.

Surely there could be something to be learned from them?...

...After prolonged studying, you learn that the newspapers they read are also made from mushrooms.

Your Smurf Apothecary learns a new ability! Myco-Newspaper Transformative Processing: Transform fungal material into newspaper products, and vice versa.

You then see if you can communicate with the mini-smurfs. You shout into a megaphone to try and get their attention.

It seems that they are somewhat able to detect your presence, but they seem to think that your communicative efforts are some sort of natural weather phenomenon. Hum.

Have the engineers keep trying to get the smurfs out of the ammo supply, while we heal our selves somehow, then continue to try to communicate with the mini smurfs.
