Hey guys,

I was inspecting a world that just finished generating and found a lone fortress in the south. I've linked an image (I snapped the frame where the cursor is invisible) where I circled it in red. The top of the screen says it is a goblin fortress, but not a dark fortress like I expected. The map legend indicates it should be a Dwarven fortress. I never noticed anything like this so I was wondering about what it implies in regards to hostility, inhabitants, possible lore and so on. Does anyone know about this?

Means that they took it from the dwarves.

As of the latest releases, you can build a fort and send out expeditions. You might even be able to conquer sites if you have enough dwarves or the right skillsets... so you can take back what's yours.

Don't forget to burn down any "Dwarven Forest Retreats" you might come across. Yeah, they took it for a good cause, wiped out some elves, most likely, but Dwarves living in trees? Unnatural.
