Necromancer sanity with magic release
« on: December 27, 2018, 05:28:51 pm »

It would make sense if the dead raised by dwarf necromancers in fortress mode didn't attack their own necromancers. Some control over the raised dead would also be interesting, i.e. on missions "the alpaca wool confronted the goblin..."

Bug tracker is for bugs. "Fix the bugs" doesn't need to be suggested because, despite popular belief, Toady does actually know his game has bugs.

It's not necessarily a bug, because the program does not crash.

It's not necessarily a bug, because the program does not crash.
It's unintended behaviour. At least in Dwarf Fortress we call that a bug and it goes on the tracker. Only a tiny number of bugs actually crash the game. And they tend to be fixed quickly.

(As opposed to this one, which I guess is lower in priority and hopefully get looked at, as you say, in amongst the magic work).

And here I was thinking you were suggesting necromancers could have fragile sanity and potentially drive themselves and over time...
