Under siege by farm animals!

I don't know if this is a bug or what... But my fortress is undersiege by Cog Datanison, a Ginnea Cock and his band of militant farm animals!
Among them:
6 Alpaca Recruits
1 Drake recruit
and a Hen Recruit.

They're too cute... I couldn't possibly fight back!

What civ are they from? Are they from goblins? Elves? What?

Erm... How could I find out?
The message is "The enemy have come and are laying seige to the fortress" rather than the goblin "an evil force of darkness have come"

That is the message for a human siege.

Animal recruits are a known bug.

Animal Farm wasn't a book, it was a warning.

Also I am personally insulted that animal sieges are considered a bug, just imagine if a wave of elephants decided to invade your fort, that would be awesome.

I want kobold shamans that function like necromancers except with animals instead of undead!
