What can I do with them?

(not interested in live training my melee squadrons or my marksdwarves' hammer skills)

You could arrange them in a zoo in your fort, but I'm not sure if any dwarves get happy thoughts from seeing troglodytes in cages...

The wiki says that "some dwarves sympathizers like troglodytes for their grunts", so yeah. I've never gotten a dwarf receive a happy thought from being near something they have a preference for though.

A few days ago I did get a nice thought from seeing a caged gorilla. I just happened to have place the cage so the dorfs have to pass it to haul bodies and cages from my prisoner execution device, so it apparently provides an offset for at least one dorf...
