Civilization menu controls not working
« on: July 27, 2018, 09:42:21 am »

I can't find the answer to this. When I go into the civilization menu to try out raiding, the menu has question marks where the controls should be. Like: "? : Center on fort". I've looked up the buttons for the menu but they also don't work. I can only move the cursor around the map and see the names of the places. Is there something I'm missing? I'm playing on Linux and usually use dfhack but it works the same way in vanilla dwarf fortress.

Your libgraphics.so is outdated. Where did you install DF from? I'm guessing it wasn't from Bay12 - some package managers tend to screw this up repeatedly.

You can check for package upgrades or complain to your package maintainer. Also, downloading DF from Bay12 and replacing libs/libgraphics.so with the one from the downloaded copy should work. (It might break in a few cases, so maybe keep a backup of the old one just to be safe.)

There was a typo in the siegers' campfire code. When the fires went out, so did the game.

Thanks! that would have taken forever to figure out. Yes, I downloaded via my package manager (pacman) in Arch Linux.
