I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, i'm new to this forum, so please redirect me to the right place if im wrong.

My computer is running 32-Bit Windows XP. I had played the the LNP-starterpack last year, but I got a bit bored so I deleted it from this computer. So I downloaded DF again. This time the legacy version. The newest version. I chose the 32-Bit download.
   But when I tried to launch DF.exe I had an error message saying something along the lines that DwarfFortress.exe is not a valid Win32 application. (It was in my native language, not english, so not a 100% that)

So what's the deal? Is Windows XP not supported anymore, or is it something else?
