Mechanics vs. Inspiration
While working on Origin of Games I realized the historical approach may conflict the logical one, in regards to building a "Game Tree", that branches out in complexity. Influence of complex games can feed simpler ones, thus the authentic Darwinian structure could conflict my personal motivation.

This is a pet project. Yet adhirance to this low complexity to high complex format will be objective as much as possible. The strongest connection will be the relationship used. We'll just see how it works!

Note: Entries should be a commonly(formerly or presently) occurring game format.

Note: While game types may often encorperate other elements, it is important to find where it's most base version offshoots.

This is a pet project, but I welcome your perspective on low to high complexity groupings of commonly occurring game types.
