Immediately, Highsoar casts Fly on themselves! They can now fly! Even better than they already can!


Vermilion fires a splash of paint at Highsoar!

Highsoar immediately swoops out the way, but ends up dangerously close to Tob, who has prepared a spell of their own.

This time, Highsoar's evasive manoeuvres are no match for the bright blue laser fired out of Tob's automage bracelet. The laser slices a burning line across Highsoar's wings and briefly stuns them. This quickly proves fatal, as the now unconscious Highsoar continues flying forwards in a straight line and smacks straight into the stone pillar head first.

Tob's triumph is short-lived however, as the maybe-unicorn catches a strand of their own mane in the laser and is transformed into a definitely-bird: an owl, in fact. The barn owl drops to the ground, unconscious for a second, before it begins to groggily wake up.

"First kill already! And now someone else is a bird! Now that's entertainment!"
