will young worlds have siege?

this save I strangely got no siege nor ambush from the goblins. is this because the worlds too young (about 130+ years)? I'm not in island and my neighbor is goblin dark pit, I got elves caravans visited but no human at the moment.

The age of the world is not an issue. The health of the goblin civ is, however. Also, enemies tend to attack the sites closest to them first, so if another of your civ's sites are closer to them than yours they tend to attack those first, and the same goes with other enemies. Also, the default siege trigger is a pop of 80, so below that they're not allowed to attack. Goblins do not ambush in vanilla DF.
