safe use of vampire soldier/cavern patroler?
« on: January 16, 2018, 07:25:52 am »

I have just witness a extremely fun of the death of a vampire macedwarf woman. It comes with the idea of utilizing the military talent of those vampires which already trained to a level instead of just seal them in a control room or an office. I've read wiki, it suggested use them to explore the cavern.
I understand they don't need to eat and sleep, but when they feel like having a feast, can I force them to station outside? or is there any method to prevent them from my other dwarves' chamber?

If I can't secure them out I suppose I will finally seal them in a barrack to train endlessly until some threats came.

any good ideas?

Once they go on a prowl you can't control them, but you can station them in a cavern and then close the drawbridge (you DO have an airlock, right?).
