Hi everyone ! as mentioned in the title i get dwarf suspending jobs over and over again driving me crazy because i can't finish walls build tracks build forfications anymore they'll just do 2 or 3 and than suspend the rest and I've no idea where it comes from

Usually when I get cancellation spam like that, it's because there's something dangerous (or that the dwarfs think might be dangerous) outside near the area. This can be something flying, even, and it occasionally dips low enough to set them off.

It's also possible that a lot of the spaces where you're going to construct are taken up with the items you're going to use in order to construct other parts of the wall, so the dwarfs can't move them out of the way, and those particular construction spaces won't get completed until the construction that uses that item is done with. Which can have a whole domino effect.

It's weird because it's inside my fortress and there are no items nothing on the tile so i just keep cancelling construction and relaunching until they do it ... but it's really getting on my nerves

What does the cancellation message say when they cancel the job?

just that the construction has been suspended in yellow without any explanation

What's your "announce job cancellations" setting?

(push o, then look at the "Announce __ job cancellations")

(If it's not already, set it to anything apart from "announce no cancellations" then look at the red message.)

Were there any items on the building designation before that were removed later?
