I'm sending my dwarfs out after the mission spend two years idling. They get back, but When i goto view the report, it comes up with today's date, and won't update at all. They are back on the map, walking around, but, its like they left the map, and came back the same day.
Has this happened to everyone else?

In fact, i'm getting several of them where the dwarfs seemingly won't move over the map.  They just sit at my site, but it generates a mission report.

I just had a similar problem. I sent a squad of 2 dwarves on a mission. Before the second dwarf even made it to the edge of the map the first dwarf came back and the mission ended. The mission report was blank of course.

I think this happens when you try to steal an artifact that belongs to someone, instead of an artifact that is just stored in the fortress.
