Restarting DF-ing, I noticed that yesterday and today, the excellent Dwarffortresswiki that I used to consult, is off-line. Is that - as I fear - something that has been going on for a longer time? ...and thus having to fear that it will not be possible to consult it either for a longer time?

Without it, I do not know if it is even possible to play DF well for newer players.

Just so you know, there is a DF Wiki subforum in DF Gameplay where questions like this should go. 

And yes, I have been experiencing this, and many other forumites are reporting it too. This is most likely very temporary, since the wiki was online just a week ago. It may or may not be related to the hack that happened on the servers some time ago (nothing serious, although you should change the password to your wiki account if you have one, as a safety measure), though I don't actually manage any of the servers and am simply reciprocating what lethosor and the other administrators have stated.

I've been here for years, and even I didn't realize the wiki had its' own subforum, lol.  Bay12 is insanely huge.

You can still use an archived version of the site with waybackmachine. Wayback is literally witchcraft.
