Getting back to this game and mod - some questions

I returned to this game and mod after years of hiatus, and I have a few questions:

-Where can I see which animal does what? I remember a spoilery article on plump helmet men and the other added pets like shaggy badgerdogs somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find it again. I remember that Cragtooth Boar can be sheared for ivory, Shaggy Badgerdog and Bearded Cavernkeet for wool, and Leatherwing Bat for skins, but what are wyverns and drakes good for?

-Where do I turn off dwarven castes and what buildings should I also disable?

-Which tileset has actual sprites for the new pets? I tried Phoebus but it doesn't.

-Where can I find info on the plants that were added? I have very little clue about what a Deep Galena is, for example.

- Drakes can be sheared for chitin.
- most likely Garrison and Guildhall. You should also probably remove castes from creature_civ_dwarf.txt
- I think none of them. Maybe Mephs, but it's bugged in it's own right
- Deep Galena is patreon reaction, that serves no purpose whatsoever. It was used to give good thoughts, but this system right now is totally different. I recommend turning galena/smoking off, or not even bothering with using it.

There are few dozen new vanilla plants and as such there are no more steeloaks for example.

As a fellow very recently returning player -- don't embark near towers, or if you do, be ready to button up your fort air tight before the siege comes.  There are new 'mancer Secrets that are significantly FUN.

Another question, where do I make bone meal?
