since i found out that retired in claimed wilderness and then start fortress embark in the location make my adventurer disappear even after i walled him inside without anywhere to get out, even after i command my miner to destroy the wall that my adventurer have build, he never show up inside. but when i unretire him, he was in that exact location it retired before.
its not happen if i retire in the fortress that has already build up and without claiming land but i want him to be the founder of that land so thats why.....
also any tips to make my adventurer can become a monarch? (is assassination or massacre my own ppl is the only way ?) since it look like even if my adventurer have noble title with [DUTY_BOUND] i still can play normally but it have [SITE] token too so it may act different with the noble without that token.

I thought the first 7 were always randomly generated new dwarves, and never historical figures?

Just a thought:  What if you had your adventurer found a site, then somehow abandon it to ruin but have the adventurer still live there.  Maybe in fortress mode you could then reclaim the site and build the fortress there?

If you get this working let us know! I might want to do this too.  The only way I've done it is, like you said, by founding a site, retiring the fortress, bringing my adventurer there, and then un-retiring the fortress.

Found a city, retire the city, then send your adventurer there and retire at the fort.

how to abandon it to ruin as adventurer ? i mean how to unclaiming the land ? and if we unclaim wont that make us cant retire there and ends up starve to death instead ?

Found a city, retire the city, then send your adventurer there and retire at the fort.

yeah i know that, but i want my adventurer as the first founder that already in the first embark.
what i mean is to claim the wilderness land, retire my adventure there, and found a city in that place. but instead adventurer that retire there gone or disappear in fortress mode.

Build the start of your fortress as an adventurer site, claim it and retire there then embark a fortress on top of it. Your adventurer will still be there. He'll most likely be suffering from the 'hostile' non-hostiles bug, but perhaps dfhack can help you there.

Argh! Every time I visit a player-made fort or play a modded race in Masterwork :(

Keep uploading those saves to the report on the tracker. Toady does try to fix this from time to time (hasn't worked yet...).

that's due to not being apart of the civ when you retire there.
a good quick way to pull this off is to make sure the civ's are the same, even better is if you start from said fort.
oh and another thing claiming a camp will remove the civ the adventurer was originally with so they probably pop up hostile as well.
(though these non-hostile hostile folk do protect the fort from any invaders if you don't provoke them so I don't see any issues with them outside of not really needing a military and fps.)

though giving more thought it's probably impossible to get an adventurer to be at a site and be part of the same embark group as the game makes a new civ/group for every fort. so while everyone is from the same mountain home not everyone would be able to just wander in and retire at the spot... with out joining the site by talking to the leader first.
so it possible to join  the fort via adventure mode but I remember it takes a whole lot of quest doing and winning favors for the leader or being a performer and getting in that way.

a giant mess that could be solved with dfhack also.
oh and your adventurer would automatically become a noble which I don't really know would hinder your access to jobs?

I do it easily without mods.
Make fort with specific civ. Retire it after digging a few rooms. Make adventurer with same civ then walk them to the fort and retire them at the site.
Reclaim fort and they will be part of it.
I even once had an adventurer migrate in.

I know this worked once maybe a new update changes it??
But I do it all the time to get an adventurer with a pick and a barrel full of alcohol.
I hope this helps

That's standard behavior, not what the op is asking for.
Having an adventurer appear at embark would require Dfhackery.

well having an adventurer appear at embark and be controllable would require dfhackery or trying to mod the civ so that they can probably tame said civ.
one could attempt to see if the adventurer could wander to your fort as a tavern guest but that's probably more figuring out how the game pulls those guys out of the pool.
