Maybe I'm imagining things, but shouldn't the announcement for changing seasons be "(Season) has arrived"?  I'm pretty sure it has been so far in the new version, but this time the game said "Summer has arrived on the Calander."

The messages I got were: "Spring has arrived!", "It is now Summer.", "Winter is upon you." and I couldn't find one for fall.

well some places (glaciers, tropics, scorching deserts) don't really have seasons except on the calander.

Yeah, those I remember.  But I have never seen this summer calendar message.  Maybe just random, maybe an indicator of the climate.  (I'm in a tropical area).
Just something odd I noticed.

Aha! another Clue!  when spring came, it just annouced "Spring has arrived on the Calendar." followed a few seconds later by "The wet season has arrived!"
I think there might be weather patterns that don't line up exaclty with the seasons...I just want to see a typhoon season now! hehe.
