Your teammates pat you on the back as you head towards the pilot console. "I'm taking the lead, I've got the right skills to pilot this vessel."(DEX+PER ROLL:DEX 7*3=21/30(PASS)PER 8*2=16/30(PASS)(MAJOR SUCCESS)
You man the console, and expertly launch and control the shuttlecraft. You manage to put the shuttle on a trajectory to land vertically-and not horizontally or in an arc landing, to prevent any possible detection. The fog of Earths radioactive atmosphere comes closer, and closer- until suddenly,
you are caught in a fog. A dense, thick fog.(PER ROLL:PER 8*5=40/30)(CRITICAL SUCCESS) however, you smoothly navigate through and manage while in the fog to re align the shuttles back thrusters with the vertical trajectory you had. You blast the thrusters and begin your descent.

Descending from the fog, Anthus remarks, "By the gods, I can see it from here. It's a goddamned fortress-"
Isho pipes up immediately, "ACTIVATE OUR SIGNATURE REMISSION DEVICE!"
Rivel states, "No, you idiot, then we won't have enough fuel to extract. We'll have to chance it and hope they don't catch us.
Denerius looks towards all of you, pale in his face, lowering a set of binoculars. "They have thousands of troops. But they don't have the shadow council symbol, or any markings for that fact."
what do you do?

We should go the opposite way on this, open hailing frequency, and let them know we are coming in peace. That way we are likely to find out quickly if they are Council, and won't anger a division sized neutral force, by landing unannounced. Probably should have done that from orbit, actually.

(Edit: can we do that? or should we only choose one of the bolded choices?)

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Yes, we can do that a1s, and actually that is a good option. I'm sorry, just havn't gotten update out today haha yesterday was a lot of construction in the storytelling element for me so as a writer it was exhausting.
So yes, you can choose  options outside of the bolded ones.

You speak up, in all the chaos, "No! We're going to open hailing frequencies. It's our best chance".
You quickly attach the radio to the communications display. There is no video analogue, but due to your intelligence and the radio you attached to the communicator(INT 4+1*2=10/20(PASS))you barely managed to tune into the local radio signal coming from the observatory.
The static is interrupted by the radio band of something else. "Delta-9 Peru Liberation Watchtower 1, unidentified signals in the AO."
"Could be shadow council. Deployi-"
Anthus speaks, "Shit Brandon! Tell them we have peaceful intentions, quick!"
You speak into the communicator, "This is Specialist Brandon Jones of the Republic of Mars forces. We come in peace and to provide aid and assistance."
You hear a small, brief, silence on the communicator. Then someone speaks,
"This is commander Reginald of the Peru Liberation Force. We remember you. We'll send a greeting party, we could use some food for the people in the base. No funny guy stuff though-we've got thousands of troops here at the base and we won't hesitate to respond if you do anything untrustworthy."
what is your response?

Let him know that we are only an investigative mission, while we have extra rations, first aid, etc, it certainly won't spread to thousands of personnel, however, we can arrange for more meaningful shipments of supplies, all we would need is a secure location to land.
