Planar Fortress; Rise of innistrad
early beta edition

The link is here

EACH CIV HAS DIFFERENT AXES! Leonin have Bonesplitters, humans have Butcher's Cleavers and Scrounged Scythes. Keep that in mind when embarking if you dont bring a million tons of wood and metal!

What this mod intends to do is add in creatures, factions, equipment, and even plants and materials from throught Magic: The Gathering's multiverse, while remaining mostly modular.

So far, what this mod adds in is a handful of civilizations, several tons of creatures, a plant, a metal, and some weapons, to try and give the game a feeling like its a whole new world, while being compatible with the old one.

Requirements/Incompatabilities:
Planar fortress relies on the vanilla item_weapon and inorganic_stone_mineral files. So long as your mod does not remove or alter things from that, there should not be any unforeseen compatibility issues.

Known Issues:
Myr don't equip stuff, probably due to being small.
The color tokens on Boneyard Wurm and Fortress Crab, along with the two feline man factions are off.I tried fixing them, but it didn't work.
Treefolk die off extraordinarily quick; i just tried giving them reproduction. Hopefully that fixes it.
Zendikari vampires are constantly fighting those that aren't other Zendikari vampires. I removed a token that I think caused it, no idea if it'll work out.
Seige Rhinos have a typo in it's childname that I'm going to fix in the next update

PM me if you have any issues! Or suggestions.

Interesting! My personal favorite setting with MTG (despite it apparently being quite disliked) is and will always be Kamigawa (I love the books). I actually somewhat fell off of MTG during Time Spiral because I really loved the stories and what they did with the planeswalkers didn't sit right with me.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Kamigawa is actually in my future plans! (Time Spiral too, but thats only for the addition of more Dominarian creatures)

I think the biggest problem that people had with Kamigawa (at least that I heard) is besides a few cards the set as a whole didn't play well with others. Everyone wants a jitte or a top but something like arcane spells existed only in the set and didn't do anything with any other set.

I like kamigawa though and try and slip a few cards in my deck whenever i make one

I'm thinking I'm gonna add cephalids next. The only problem is theyre frequently fliers, which means an invading force of them may get trapped in trees. I'm also thinking about adding some homebrew things based on what I think would happen if a mass planar fusion actually occurred.

A minor update. I disabled a couple bugged player civs, making them just allies.

I know I havent updated the mod in a while, just taking a rest and waiting for Hour of Devastation to come out so I can make deserts much more populated.

No, this mod isnt dead, if anyones wondering. I just have been busy with college preparations and the likes, plus I cant think of much to do for this. A lot of my favorite creatures of magic have already been added; whats left to do is probably scrounge from the blocks I havent covered, and the rest of Dominarias storyline, to try and find animals to put in, and MAYBE find a few more civilizations... And fix the Myr... But more likely than not, im just gonna restart from scratch once the next update comes out, so look forward to "Planar Fortress: Rebooted"... If I keep the Planar Fortress name. To anybody who likes this mod, downloaded it, or the likes, thank you so much for doing so, and I will catch you on the flipside.
