I forgot the names of screw pump components so i typed pump in the manager screen and got this

Musical Instrument of some kind. Or rather, part of one.

Presumably the musical instrument pumps air in some way, not unlike a bagpipe or an organ.

If you check what you're able to make in a forge, or possibly a glassworkers, you should be able to get a description of what a goshist is. I often wish the manager screen would tell me what an item is, instead of having to go the roundabout route.
