I will take a lowly Trainee with some Political Ability, and watch as I rise though the ranks via the "Conversation" skillset.  Dibs on our first fighter!

So, I made the mistake of doing that first thing, as within the first few months of playing, right before the research finished, Euchre Jack got a promotion to Rookie via political connections and skill, is that alright with you or would you like me to pick a new Trainee and rename them?

Eh, its good.  More talented that I was shooting for, but I always am.
