The Dwarf Fortress Blog is up and running!

Now I need some stuff to put on there. Worlds, interesting saves, stories, whatever. This blog needs some posts (and better looks, if anyone has some suggestions).

Nothin' on there yet. I think I'll do a consolidated mods patch to start off, to get all of those new creatures into one place.

Hmmm well I have been working on the saga of the painted rooms of doom a fortress in between 4 different goblin fortressesseses how do you spell that? Anyway ontop of having alot of goblins and kobolds to deal with it also has to deal with angered humans, dwarves, and elves that are in turn angered by the angry elephants and warthogs who are in turn angered by the angry goblin hordes and THEY are in turn anggered by the kobolds and THEY are in turn angered by the angry humans, elves, and dwarves. And so the cycle continues. I've been working on the motes and defences since i got there so theres been alot of  just sitting there while I bombard em and some funny collisions between the invading forces. You want it up there?

May I also suggest inverting the colours on your blog? Darker colours would seem to mesh better with black pictures.

I'm going to go for a gray, green, and yellow layout, actually. It won't clash with any of the pics that way, and I'll download your pics and upload them to photobucket, then I'll use plain old html image tags to put them in.

Congratulations on doing this, O Lord Blue. I imagine a centralised Dwarf Fortress site that's not the wiki, and so more suited to incredible anecdotes and mods and whatnot, as you said, shall be thoroughly awesome.

One thing, though... could you, perhaps, change the link colour to something a little milder? It's a little harsh on that background, to my eyes at least...
