TCW's AI has always been really, REALLY bad. Almost to the point of hyperbole honestly... I'm starting to think that in their minds it's a hallmark of the series at this point, or that harder AI will scare new fans away. (Which honestly, I just wish they would be more intelligent. Y'know? Try something different than just attacking you head on.)

He's right that Medieval II had a Britannia expansion, but it took place about 400 years after this game.
