So, if its possible, can someone tell me how to make a creature that, from time to time, produces metal bars? I'm just trying to make special domestic creatures for my mod that produce metal every so often (Possibly monthly, possibly more often, I dunno) Essentially, creatures that arent cheap, but eventually pay for themselves. It would also be fine if they had to produce it by being butchered

Couldn't you just have their eggs be processable via some custom workshop reaction into metal bars, rather than directly having them lay the metal bars? That would allow for reproduction still, I believe.

Come to think of it, you could also make a creature with shearable or even milkable products to do the same. Make something that produces Metal Cheese!

LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS and normal eggs are mutually exclusive. You need another caste for the normal eggs.
