What's the best way to grind weapon skills, wrestling, etc? I want a good ass character without cheat engineing for creation points. I heard a good way to grind weapons was to find a bear, lie on the ground so it can't charge, and then attack it. Give me some other ideas please because that sounds dangerous.

Decapitate a zombie's hands and feet and switch combat preferences to close combat+stand ground and don't forget to bring a shield then walk towards the undead creature; as a vampire you should wrestle it for days to come but as a living being you run the risk of being over-exert and being bitten to death. This method trains fighter, wrestler, dodger, armour, shield and observation in which increases the attributes: strength, agility, toughness, endurance, focus, willpower, intuition, spatial sense and kinesthetic sense unless your a vampire(until it gets patched that is). It should only take three ingame days of wrestling.

this should be the overall result:

One thing, zombies suck for training weapon skills. I've tried.
I use animals. Just pick something big and not particularly aggressive. Then you set up a macro.

The best weapons for this are those with "non-lethal" attacks. Swords and axes because you can hit with the flat or pommel, spears or pikes because you can bash with the shaft... Maybe wooden crossbows because they're light and train hammerdwarf skill when used as bludgeons...

Anyway, to record a macro just get ready for attacking, make sure your target's the only one around and:

1) press control+R. That will start the key recording.

2) attack the animal as usual. Use the nonlethal attack for your weapon, and aim for something superfluous, a leg or the like. Avoid hitting the upper/lower body or the head, last thing you need is driving a shard of bone through something important, like a lung or brain.

3) once you have completed the attacking action, press control+R again. Then control+S to save it. Give it a name. Then control+L to load it, control+U to set how many times to use it (from 1 to 99) and then control +P to play it. I advise against setting too high a use number, because the target may move away and that'll screw you up. Just keep pressing control+P till it moves, get closer to it again and keep going.

Also, remember to keep your weapons/shields on the same places as when you recorded the macro. Another thing, I say pick a big animal (I go for rhinos) because that way they will survive the bloodloss from getting a pair of legs cut off/broken. That's to ensure they don't move much, so they don't pass out from over exertion too soon. You don't get any XP from unconcious targets. I train weapons while they're awake, and wrestler while they aren't.

And that's about it. Since rhinos have thick skin, they won't give in to pain easily.

Training things like maceman is harder since that produces tons of damage. And training archer or crossbow man is easy as long as you have ammo. Just set up a macro to fire into an empty space (make sure there aren't things nearby, last thing you want is to hurt an innocent...  :P ) and then just fire away!

So uh, yeah you just murdered a until proven otherwise pretty neutral innocent being for no reason.
