What version of Dwarf Fortress are you wanting to use?

The reason I ask is that graphical fonts need TWBT which is only available in a 32-bit version (at the moment). DFHack is transitioning to the 64-bit version but is also being worked on.

I believe the LNP (Lazy Newb Pack) for Mac should allow you to use DF 43.03 32-bit and comes with DFHack and TWBT. Meph has bundled his tileset version 1.3 for Mac although once you are familiar with which files to copy over, you can take the Windows 1.4 version and get it working yourself.

Well I want to use DF 43.05. So what you are saying is I should download the Lazy Newb Pack, take a look at the files, and try to copy them myself for the version I want?

Meph's tileset is available for 43.03. He has not updated it for 43.05 yet. If you want that tileset you will probably have to stop at 43.03 until there is an update.

You would also have to look at what versions of DF that DFHack is available for (I think there is a 32-bit 43.05 version and most of a 64-bit early version). TWBT is currently 32-bit only but is tentatively being worked on for 64-bit. I am unsure if TWBT is ready for 43.05 yet so you would have to ask in that thread.
