"Awfully rude of the lot of you to go around making races without asking. You're making it much more expensive for the rest of us."
Name: Burdun
Traits:
+ Hard workers, capable of succeeding in both physical and intellectual tasks with pure willpower. Each is capable of becoming an expert in multiple fields. Mostly literally.
+ Powerful muscles, the bodies of Burdun are significantly larger and stronger than that of other races.
- Impious, with a streak of individualism and independence they tend to try to resolve issues themselves rather than relying on gods. And as a result are less likely to perform the whims of gods.
Description: Physically they can be described as the missing link between gorillas and horses. They are large harry creatures with hoved back legs and arms like an ape that are used both for movement and gripping. Their muscles are powerful and easily visible, their size is on average larger than any other currently created race. As is their appetite. Their heads are as horses with a mouth of teeth resembling an ape's, allowing them to easily eat both meat and vegetables. Their eyes hold a clear intelligence within them.
The Burdun's most obvious mental trait is their inborn ability for hard work. They are capable of performing any task a mortal can conceivably thanks to this, the ability to never give up until a goal is achieved lets them achieve all sorts of goals. This leads to the Burdun having a society filled with skilled workers, each having earned their skills by the sweat of their brow. As a society they are fairly individualistic, rural, and self-reliant. Most will attempt to solve any problem themselves before turning to their family, neighbors, or deities. This includes mundane work, the ability to be good at multiple jobs is necessary as Burdun tend to take all the jobs of their homestead on themselves.
1 Sphere 1 Generic action towards Burdun Prototype!
I don't think we're allowed to create things in installments, per the implied meaning of
this post? It's all or nothing to the best of my knowledge if there aren't discrete tiers like with artifacts.
So you might want to ask someone to help you finish making these, which would cost 3 sphere acts this turn, no matter how many prototypes are created, as price increases will only apply next turn, based on races that were actually populated. I like this race, but have sadly spent all my divine power already. Maybe ask Susan or The Wanderer to help you? Good luck!
Also, sorry for populating mortals and thus making it harder to prototype mortals in the future, but I would like to get a worship income at some point.
