After a Long break i wanted to get back into Dwarf Fortress and started a Human Fort but sadly no matter where i settle or how small my area is as soon as i want to save it, it crashes on me and all progress is lost.. As you can imagine this is very annyoing and breaks the fun for me when i have to beg and prey to armok everytime i want to save my progress... What could be the reason for this? i play in a medium world and settled first at the sea then at the mountains because i thought maybe the waves and all the water breaks it but no even in the damn mountains with nothing going on but me building it crashes... i can't even start it up again.

To add to this, same issue for me. Every single embark, I save, try to reload save, crashes 100%. Errorlog shows nothing I haven't already posted.

World gen crashes.

World load crashes (sometimes).

Embark menu crashes (sometimes).

Save and reload crashes 100% of all forts I've made in various biomes, unique worlds, and settings. I see no error in dfhack, or errorlog or a common 'thing' that would tie it together...

Are you guys using the pre-genned worlds for MWDF?  I find few to no world gen problems when using those.

Genning worlds from scratch has always been a bit of a problem for me.

I've been using the lava lake one recently however whenever I save after embarking it crashes.

I get the same problem only included are
crashings at random (rare)
crashing while saving (common)
and crashing when quitting DF

Could you please try the dfhack quicksave command for saving, and try running the game and saving without using dfhack? I'm curious if the crashes happen with or without it.

Well my crashes appear while playing as soon as i want to manual save, seasonal saves did not crash so far. So my solution right now is wait and hope it does not crash till season change.. im not familiar with dfhack i just used it for Prospect all so far... but if i can quicksave with it i will do that xD

1.15 is way more stable, but it still crashes a lot when trying to build the custom forges, especially when moving the building around to place it.  The dump implies it's something in dfhack, but I cannot debug further.

I never experienced that, but that is a dfhack plugin for sure.
