I attempted to make a desert kingdom with the intention of building a massive pyramid tomb to hold the body of my late king and the last incarnation of the only true God, Ra. Well apparently Anubis got wind of this and since I didn't bring any cats (due to not wanting to enslave a godly being), His putrid godliness sent forth a wave of zombie camel destruction that killed my King's retainers in, oh, five minutes.

It was brutal and I will never disrespect that pantheon again.

Yeah. I got confused because Bast used to be the mother of Anubis but that mythology was rejected after awhile. I must have semi-remembered that and made a connection that doesn't exist >_<

Kagus is right.  Zombie Camels are a awesome; consider them a good omen.  And look at how friendly they are, they just go out and dance on top of any dwarf that gets near them.

I've been stupid. I've adopted 9(!) kittens from my backyard and one mom. But I forgot to check the colors. None match. So now I'm stuck with 9 kittens I cannot make a single pair of mittens out of. I tried feeding them to my dog but he's too afraid of them (4-week old kittens! The coward).
Guess I'll just have to raise them then.
The poor mom is being sucked dry. Only 4 are hers but she feeds the other 5 as well. Luckily they are already eating normal food as well. And trashing my house at the moment.. NOOO! NOT THE POWER-WIRE
