Brook to river?
« on: September 03, 2016, 12:32:33 am »

I was wondering: is there a way I can turn brook squares into 'normal' impassable water squares? I've embarked on a map with a brook, and while fun I'd prefer it if could turn it into a normal river to further guard my aboveground buildings against foes.

You can channel brook tiles to accomplish that.

Will a channeled brook retain the (vermin) fish support properties of a brook?

And, in an even more extreme version, will tunneling out the area below a brook and then cave-in the bottom/roof all along it retain this property?

Fun fact: If you collapse the brook floor, wierd stuff happens. Invisible walls, water randomly spawning. I once dropped a piece of brook into hell (Extreme luck, candy was below brook) and when it rained, water spwaned there.

Thanks Gwolfski.
I sort of expected oddities, but it seem they're even odder...
