I just made a giant 78x71x3 layered Library and lined the walls with 260 Bookshelves on the first floor.



The activity zone is too small and it wont fit, if i overlap it will it be recognized as one?

you can tile the zones but if they overlapped the books in the overlapped area would be counted twice in location info screen.

Ok, but then i have to go to every one of them and hit Meeting hall and then set it to library..

Overlapping is pointless and results in double accounting, as mentioned. Just paint the zones side by side and allocate them to the same library entity (they don't even have to be contiguous: your library [or taverns, or temples] can have sections spread out all over your fortress).
