Curiosity killed the cat
« on: October 29, 2007, 10:42:00 pm »

While my dogs have been lounging around the carts, my cats have been, I really don't know where they've been going.  But one cat dies, bleeding to death (I couldn't find em), and then my second cat dies instantaneously (this time I found that cat, and I found where the other cat bled to death).  Judging from this picture, I think they...  jumped off a cliff.  The cat that bled to death actually landed on her feet, nice job cat.  She lost three of her feet in the process.  Died.  Miserably.

This is saddening... I planned on living off a diet of cat, but they have doomed my civilization by taking a coward's route.  Well, it's a good thing I'm Korean.  C'mere doggy...

Oh, and I got a random question.  All I'm finding is chalk, and I can't seem to make anything with chalk.  Just... a big hill of ... chalk...  any suggestions?

Keep digging. Up and down. You'll find minerals eventually.

Poor kitties.  :(

I haven't tried it, but in the stone menu (under z), it says that the red types are reserved for jobs. If you press enter, that stone turns green. may help your problem?

Thanks Mephisto, I'll try that next time I play.  I'm already straining my schedule as it is  :p
And yeah, poor kitties.  *stifles laughter*

*note to self*  Toady really wanted to stress in his game that curiosity kills cats, brutally.  //end note
