I seem to recall...

There's one space simulation game I can recall at the edge of my mind.  It was in development and two of the features I recall it having was that it had randomly generated ships and a modifiable User Interface for its ships.  I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.  Anyone know of what it might be?  Before you say it, I know for sure it wasn't no man's sky.
