SOLVED: Pasturing Cancellation Spam! help!
« on: July 17, 2016, 10:03:59 am »

I've got a problem with two dwarves forgetting to eat, drink, or sleep over this. They're trying to pasture a lamb but constantly failing due to an area inaccessible.

So both the dwarves and lamb and ewe are on the same stairwell, and I'm certain I've lowered the bridge (I dont' know how to tell if it's raised or lowered) and unforbid the doors. There shouldn't be anything blocking the dwarves from the ewe, lamb, or pasture.

I'm not sure what I'm forgetting.

I'll send pics if my explanation's not clear enough.

"area inaccessible" spam is typically caused by burrows. Got any?

Fleeting Frames is correct in burrows being the leading cause of cancellation spam of any kind. A forgotten civilian alert after a siege isn't that uncommon, for instance.
And the visual representation of a bridge being the same for a single tile bridge causes me to make them two tiles long (unless a different size is needed, of course).

Ah, yes, I'd forgotten all about that! (I'd used a burrow to put all the dwarves indoors and awaay from the giantess.)
