Increased Civ range?
« on: July 20, 2016, 04:13:54 pm »

I'm pretty sure this is a no, but is there a way to increase civilization "range"? That being the distance they will interact with another civilization with?

I want to create a big world with fewer but larger civilizations, but they probably would not be able to interact with one another due to distance between.

You could give them a longer time to expand. Getting multiple civs all within 20 tiles of each other through growth in a small time period is bit finicky, tho.

Visitors also don't follow the normal rules of civ movement, being able to populate island libraries over the sea. But this may not really be what you want, I guess.

That's a good point, they do tend to cover large distances given enough time.

I'll give that a shot. I don't mind letting it gen for a long period of time.

Thanks
