Masterwork Ironhand tileset

Question, the old version of Masterwork has a tile-set called masterwork ironhand, which is why every creature tile has a graphic and not a letter? Where as new version it's reading just Ironhand, meaning they haven't caught up yet to this mod? Replacing say the graphics_critters.txt in the new version with the old version would be ok to add more variety?

There is no Ironhand set that is updated atm. The original author is inaktive.

As kind of a follow-up. I was reading some of the previous posts about graphic sprites and what not. Since I'm a beginner to making alterations....wanted to see what the process would be for adding a graphic to say something like an "iguana" which currently just has an "I" as it's image? When looking over the graphics section in both MDF and DF I can't find where I could replace the graphic ("I") for that creature....doesn't seem to exist in either the animal, critter or any other sections. I'm currently using the Phoebus default as well. Thanks much!

\Dwarf Fortress\raw\graphics\

Create the images you want to use, place them there.
Create an [OBJECT:GRAPHICS] txt file.  Use one of the existing ones there as a template.

The "i" is the iguana's default CREATURE_TILE, which is used because the iguana (probably - i didn't check) doesn't have CREATURE_GRAPHICS defined.  If you create and add the graphics, they'll be used instead.

Wow, good catch. Creature sprites actually have nothing to do with tilesets, you can for example play with ironhand dwarven sprites, spacefox animal sprites and phoebus tileset.

I thought the sets would support all vanilla creatures, it seems to local artists lack behind... iguanas have actually no sprite. I can make one, shouldnt be hard.

Did you catch other graphics?

sure, as for reptiles in general, I can' find corresponding files in DF/raw/graphics  for any of them. I will continue to look for others (with exception of course of the creature.png ones).
