Vomit drinking dwarf children?

Not sure if I've found a bug, or just ran into the games systems creating a very unique outcome. I'm currently running 42.06 and am also aware of the vomiting cat bug from this release. Here's an imgur link: http://imgur.com/a/bOHOP

As you can see, these dwarf kids were all forced to drink vomit. Has anyone ran into something like this before? Thanks!

Pretty sure they eventually do that if they've got nothing else to drink.

Maybe they are not old enough to drink vodka? But vomit is a very good renewable resource.

Perhaps they drunk from a contaminated water source where dwarves go to clean themselves? Got enough booze in your fort?

...at first I wondered how you got some vomit to drink a kid, I wondered if perhaps it was a vomit forgotten beast which was given a mug with a caged child in it, then it struck me that this was probably not the meaning I should have gone for first.
