Pokemon Insurgence: High-Quality Fanmade Pokemon game
« on: August 26, 2017, 12:31:51 pm »

Hello and welcome to the world of Pokémon Insurgence.

https://p-insurgence.com/

I am aware some of you have played Pokémon Omicron and Zeta, but what if the same team worked on an even better game? What if that game was better constructed, had less fakemon, and the story wasn't half-troll half-serious? Well that is Pokémon Insurgence.

Features
-All Pokémon from Red and Blue all the way to Black 2 / White 2. Sorry Sun and Moon lovers but the Devs spoke.
-HM Items: Don't want to cart around HM slaves? No more!
-Trade Pokémon can be evolved without trading.
-Delta Pokémon: Their appearance, types, and moves are rearranged making them a familiar yet different beast altogether.
-New Megas
-Don't want Non-official Mega Pokémon OR Deltas?: There is an option for fidelity that will avoid them.
-Online Features: Mystery Gifts, Trading, Wonder trade, Battling, Friend Safari
-Challenge Runs: Nuzlock, Randomized mode, Egg Mode (instead of catching and using pokemon, you replace them with random eggs), and more
-Difficulty Modes: The game is tougher than typical Pokémon games but rest easy there are three difficulty modes: Easy, Normal, and Hard.

Don't care about Spoilers? Here is the Official Wiki

Want extra pokemon for your start?

I can obtain any pokemon, MOST with any ability you wish, and trade it to you at level 1 or higher if you so need.

I cannot trade Delta Pokémon yet. I'll edit and post when I can.

Don't feel guilty about asking for your favorites, as great as Pokémon Insurgence is, it can hold off on pokemon far longer than it would have been useful to.

This sounds like the sort of thing that should be on the "games we wish existed "thread.

EDIT: just noticed the link, nevermind.

Hm...at first glance this is mediocre. The music has no loop points, the options for changing sound or music volume only moves by 1 at a time then a lag for half a second while it restarts the music. Also, it still has the game maker icon.

Option for Traditional or Dark story line. Neat. I've often wondered what Pokemon would be like with some edge.

Are the maps still oversized and boring, like Omicron/Zeta, or did they tighten them up and get some decent tilers in for this one?

I'm loving the design of the delta pokemon, the small part of the map i've seen looks pretty neat to

Some pokemons don't have the correct learning skills, and they forgot that pokemons can evolve after a fight if there is a discussion afterwards.

I am really not a fan of Delta pokemons, in general, neither.

Other than that (and a bit of lag, sometimes), it isn't bad.

I think I prefer it to Omicron.
