What is an AAR?

After-action report, I think. That should fall under "& Stories".

So an After-action report (AAR) is like a df gaming journal, pretty much that one thread "What's going on in four fort?" thread?

Does "DF Community Games & Stories" mean "DF Community Games" & "DF Community Stories" or "DF Community Games" & ""DF Stories" ?

Either way, I read this forum way too fast sometimes, but don't necessarily do PTW since long dead threads will still show up in "Show new replies to your posts" and no way to remove it from the list.

I think some people would refer to a story all told by a single player, like Roomcarnage, an AAR too even though it is long and episodic.

I did that with Blazecooks.

I reported back on events, and took ideas on what to do next.

Nothing is stopping you. I remember back when people really started getting into writing stories for this game, that a majority were single players writing from the perspective of a single dwarf. Or from the invisible overseer, or whatever - the important point is that it hasn't always been mostly succession fortresses. If you update frequently you are bound to get readers.

Though, I've discovered, even the most stoic of writers have trouble not dwarfing at least a few people after they get a good following.
