What you do is simple. Make four slabs. Make a large bridge. Make three masterwork mechanisms. Build a lever at the side of the bridge and link it to the bridge with said mechanisms. Wall in the bridge except one spot at the far side of the lever. Have the noble use the lever and never be seen again. Engrave slab in his memory. Place in the graveyard.

As a bonus this works perfectly well in any evil biome.
