demons don't like drawbridges

so i managed to start a fort past the chasm and have crossed the magma and killed the demons, with some military but most drawbridge traps
i don't think the demons liked these tactics

not long later i got ever third engraving looking like these

The demon defence, engraved history for years to come. Pretty graphic images you got there.

The first and last one refer to the endgame demon being trapped in adamantine in a 'time before time'. he is the only demon who is actually called just 'demon'.

unfortunately there wasn't much to see except smoke


(how did the endgame demon get smeared into a spiral)

that carving can happen at any time. I think it is depicting the 'legend' of the first (worst?) demon being sealed away behind adamantine.  Can anyone confirm this via adventuring into a fortress that has had one?

I have seen this carved as the first carving in brand new fortresses before.

On the item is a well designed image of Asnur Smashesdmartyred the demon by Stukos Amugnil. Asnur Smahedmartyred is in a fetal position. The artwork relates to the imprisonment of Asnur Smahedmartyred in adamantine deep within the south fingers a time before time.

This is an image from a fort that was abandoned(not too deeped), and it's subject is clearly the adamantine demon.
