Interest checks are truly magnificient: instead of trying to do something and failing horribly, you can first ask people's opinion, and THEN fail horribly. With that said, I have a lot of free time right now, and here's a bunch of ideas I had for some multiplayer forum games.


Cataclysm: DDA, The game: A forum game based on the homonym roguelike "Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead". There's gonna be 4 players, thrown into the Cataclysm world, with some kind of quest. Of course, that would require me to develop some kind of combat mechanics. I might actually play the game and, based on what happens there, I make things happen here.

Arena showdown: Pretty simple, eight players fight each other to death (1v1's only) and the last man (or girl) standing wins. Of course, that would require me to develop some kind of combat mechanics, spells, weapons and skills.

Time travellin' hero: Three players. They are some sort of angels, and they will have three different missions where they travel to a certain point of time and do something. Of course, this would be pretty freakin' hard and it would fail horribly. Not that the others wouldn't.

And that's it! I hope the interest check itself doesn't fail, because that would be a shame!

Well, if you got some decent experience with C:DDA, I'd love to play that as a forum game.
